Supported Living Program

Independent living is a goal for many of the people we serve, but some need help to live successfully in their community. The Supported Living Program can provide up to 24-hour support to people who qualify for the Medicaid Community Integration and Habilitation Waiver (formerly known as the DD Waiver) and who live with housemates in a house or apartment they have rented. Arc staff ensures each person's safety, while helping them perform daily household tasks, go shopping, and access community activities. Similar services can be provided for those who qualify for the Family Supports Waiver (formerly known as the SS Waiver) under a program called Participant Assistance and Care or PAC Services.

Arc also provides Respite Services to give family-caregivers time off from taking care of their family member with disabilities.
